Mission

HOPE worldwide – Boston Chapter
The HOPE worldwide Boston chapter is committed to helping children who are less fortunate in the Boston area. We have chosen to help children in the Massachusetts Foster Care System and from Boston Inner City Schools to be our beneficiaries. Our goal is to give them a brighter future by providing them with the tools and support to help them have a better chance for success.

Beneficiaries:
Mass Department of Children and Families (DCF)
HOPE worldwide works side by side with the Mass Department of Children and Families (DCF) each year. We host a party for over 150 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 from the cities of Lowell, Haverhill, and Lawrence, MA. We chose this age group because they are most often overlooked and forgotten. These are the children who are considered the “unwanted children” in the state’s foster care system. HOPE worldwide provides a celebration during the holidays with scholarships, laptops and other gifts.

Saturday Academy:
In the fall of 2010, the Boston chapter of HOPE worldwide designed the Saturday Academy which began operation at the Mather School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. After much thought and reflection, HOPE worldwide believed that a child-centric program, with character development as its goal, would be an effective way to provide encouragement to those enrolled.
